Sunday May 12th

TBD-? Mothers’ Day brunch 

Location: Le Pain Quotidien inside Central Park

2 W 69th St.

Notes: This will be a very casual brunch for anyone who wants to join. The café doesn’t take reservations and we may not be able to all sit together depending on the size of the group. There are no set plans for the time we will be meeting but if anyone is interested in joining us met us know so we can keep you updated on the details as they come together. 

Monday May 13th

6:00pm-8:00pm -Celebratory Dinner Reception 

Location: Jalao NYC (inside the Radio Hotel lobby)

Transportation:

GPS/Uber/Lyft/Google or Apple Maps for public transportation:  2420 Amsterdam Ave.

Taxi: Corner W 180th and Amsterdam (entrance is on the Amsterdam Ave. side)

 

Tuesday May 14th

8:30-11 am  Class Day-Columbia College Graduation Ceremony 

Location:  South Lawns – Morningside Campus 

Transportation: 

Taxi: 116th and Broadway 

Lyft/Uber: Columbia University (make sure it’s the entrance on Broadway

Subway: 116th stop on the 1 train  

Where to meet and other details:

For those traveling from Radio Hotel We will meet in the lobby at 7am and plan to leave the hotel no later than 5 minutes past the hour. 

For those traveling from other parts of the city we will meet at the entrance to campus on 116th and Broadway at 7:25am and plan to enter campus as a group by 7:30

If you’re not able to go in with the group sitting with the rest of the group can’t be guaranteed. However seats should be available for everyone. Don’t forget your tickets as you won’t be allowed in without them! 

 

1:00-3:00pm – Department of Physics and Astronomy graduates reception 

This reception is limited to only two guests so we’ll catch up with everyone later

6:30-8:30pm - Latin X Graduates Recognition Ceremony 

There are limited tickets for this event. If you’re interested in attending let us know. We may have one or two extra tickets so on the day of we can draw names from a bag.
